Update and implement employee culture book Manage administrative volunteer onboarding (obtaining fingerprinting documentation, liability waivers, etc)Įnsure that GOKiC is in legal compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Provide administrative support including budgeting, cost volume development, and paying department and program billsĪdhere to all Volunteer Services protocol relative to volunteer usage, recognition, and monitoring Work with Directors and Program Manager team to monitor income and expenses Implementing, communicating, and maintaining quality control policies and personnel policies (e.g., Employment Handbook) and other written materials as assignedĭeploy resources efficiently and effectively toward organizational goals, working with leads to balance staff workload and effort, timesheet management, and provide regular feedback so that staff can continuously improve their leadership. Serve as office manager and manage all aspects of its effective operation, including selecting vendors and purchasing & monitoring equipment, services, and supplies. Support the hiring process and onboarding procedures, developing a collaborative environment that inspires and aligns staff to work toward vision and goals. Work with the ED and offer guidance on strategic issues, goal setting, and programs.

Serve as an ambassador for GOKiC at all times both formally and informally. Manages the overall office functionality, flow, and organization. This role is newly created to expand organizational growth and will report directly to the Executive Director. They should align with our mission & vision and come from similar communities we serve. The Operations Manager provides administrative, finance, and operational support and serves a key role in operationalizing and implementing the organization’s strategic and business plans. They should also have knowledge in using a decolonized lens to create equitable policies.
